Bumper Sweet Corn in Hawick
HAWICK, Scotland, UK. September 3, 2013.
Bill Irving from Haugh Head Farm on the outskirts of Hawick in the Scottish Borders.
This year he has been amazed by the growth of his crop of sweet corn, reaching a height of 8 foot 3 inches when measured on 3rd September. He puts it down to this years good weather with some fortunate rain at the right time.
